Upcoming WGSL Exhibition for June 2025

What: A Continuous Thread

Is a juried exhibition open to all fiber-related techniques created by current guild members of the Weavers’ Guild of St. Louis.

When: June 1st - June 28th, 2025

Reception - Sat, June 7th 2-5pm with Gallery Talk at 3pm

Where: The Gallery at University City Public Library

6701 Delmar Blvd, University City, MO 63130

Exhibition focus: This exhibition investigates the thread of fiber creativity that ties our past explorations to our future visions while it informs the work we are creating NOW.  A continuous thread connects our guild fiber artists representing diverse interests, combining categories and techniques in a personal way, or reflecting current trends. Sometimes, what we have mastered in the past resurfaces in our current work. Other times, we boldly investigate a new combination of materials, color, and presentation.

Jurors:  Sharon Kilfoyle & Leandra Spangler, both artists have juried numerous exhibitions for our guild as well as other arts organizations and galleries.
