Exhibition Title: Comfort & Joy

Theme: This title reflects the warmth of seasonal gatherings and the continuous thread that connects families and friendships.    

Location: The Gallery at the University City Public Library

Dates:  December 2 – 29, 2026

Eligibility:

- Open to current members of Weavers’ Guild of St. Louis.

- Open to all fiber-related techniques.

- Up to three entries allowed per artist.

- Work MUST be artists’ original design.

- No time limit for when the work was created.

- No work that has been shown in prior WGSL exhibitions.

Framing, Presentation & Images:

- ALL artwork is wall mounted. WGSL will provide fabric covered torsos for jewelry and garment display (items will be hand sewn to the fabric for security purposes).

- Work MUST be ready to hang/display.

- NO saw tooth hangers on framed items

- Items may be rejected if the actual piece is not fully represented by the image sent for jury OR if the piece is deemed too fragile or unstable to hang.

- Images do not need to be a professional shot but please be careful that the image is in good focus and the color is true.

- Send 1 full size and 1 detail image for each submission (JPG or PNG, 1MB min - 5MB max)

Jury Process:

Entry forms and images are due by Sunday, November 8th. Final selections will be made once all items are delivered to the library auditorium on Tuesday, December 1st. Artwork will be juried by the WGSL Exhibitions Committee. Selection of work will be based on the aesthetic relationship between the submissions and available space in the gallery.
