WGSL Destash Event - Table Rentals

Date: April 11, 2026 (Set Up 8-8:30am / Sale 9am-12)

Workshop Location: First Congregational Church of Webster Groves (10 W Lockwood Ave, Webster Groves, MO 63119) 

Cost : WGSL members can rent one or multiple tables for the Destash event (if you have Yarn, Fiber/Craft items, books/magazines and/or Fiber/Craft equipment to sell). The cost for one 8-foot long table is $15.

Detailed Logistics:  

Please plan to arrive at the First Congregational Church of Webster Groves between 8:00 and  8:30AM to set up your items for sale (in the same room we use for our guild sale). You will want to park in the rear parking lot off S.Gore Ave. for easier access (no steps).  

You will be responsible for your own pricing and sales so you may want to bring some extra dollars to make change.

Guild members can shop anytime from 9AM, the sale will be open to the public from 10-Noon.  

If you have photos of your items (especially equipment) and are OK with us to post in online adverts then please send a photo and description to gaglidden@aol.com with Destash-2026 in the Subject Line. This is a particularly good way to promote any equipment (looms, spinning wheels, etc.). The description should include manufacturer, dimensions, and other relevant details (for looms # of harnesses and treadles, weaving width, included accessories).

Almost ALL tables have been reserved, so the online form has been removed. If you still want to sell at the Destash, please email websiteweaversguildstl@gmail.com and put ‘Destash-2026’ in the subject line. Tell us how many tables you’d like and someone will let you know if there is still room for you.

Make the check payable to ‘Weavers’ Guild of St. Louis’. Please include ‘Destash’ on the Memo line as well as your name if it’s not already printed on the check. Be sure that the total amount is equal to $15 times the number of tables you requested in the form, above.

For security it is recommended to fold the check in half, or wrap a piece of blank paper around the check.
